About the Role

The Compliance Team aims to maintain a good partnership between MonetizeMore and Google. It is only up to the team to screen our potential publisher sites thoroughly and consistently to make sure everything is compliant with Google's policies and standards. As such, the Compliance Officer is primarily responsible for the initial approval of a site or app during the onboarding process. We'd like to work with a Compliance Officer who knows how to practice good judgment as well as follow the required protocols in our screening process; most importantly, someone who can work in collaboration with other departments to create a culture of compliance.

Job Summary

The Compliance Officer ensures that sites and apps from new and existing publishers follow all relevant publisher policies and restrictions from Google (Webmaster Guidelines, Platform Program Policies, AdSense Program Policies, and Google Publisher restrictions), as well as the company’s internal policies. 

They have undergone training on screening potential publisher sites, to check for violations and identify areas of the site/s where changes might be necessary. They work in collaboration with our Support Department and our Ad Ops Team in communicating compliance-related issues, to then be conveyed and disseminated to their respective publishers. They are up to date on new policy changes implemented by Google and/or MonetizeMore. 

They conduct quarterly reviews on existing sites, investigate irregularities and non-compliance issues as presented in our in-house tools, and institutes practices as such, to ensure the highest possible level of compliance. 

What you’ll do: 

  • Screen websites and apps following Google Ads Policies and Publisher Restrictions for publishers who sign up through our site, through upsells, and other sources. 
  • Monitor compliance with these policies, restrictions, and internal policies through Spot-checks
  • Ensure that your findings are documented and followed through with the concerned department so that issues can be rectified
  • Highlight or escalate issues that need immediate attention
  • Provide well constructed and researched responses to queries from other departments
  • Keep up to date with and internalize relevant Google Policies and Restrictions
  • Conduct site spotchecks of existing publisher sites to ensure that they are still in compliance with Google's policies
  • Update Compliance-related trackers to be used for data analysis
  • Handle Internal Screening Requests for existing publisher’s additional sites to make sure that they are also compliant with Google’s Policies
  • Perform tasks that audit for compliance projects such as Move the Needle Projects for existing publisher
  • Readily available to take special projects to own within the team for kaizen initiatives
  • Proactively bring ideas and suggestion to the table during brainstorming activities for for process improvements
  • Ensure personal and team KPI is on target : Termination Score, MCM Approval, AHT & TAT

Who you are: 

  • Sufficient knowledge of data analytical tools such Google Docs, Google Spreadsheets, ActiveCampaign, Slack and Salesforce
  • Familiarity with the Ad placement policies for both Ad Exchange and Adsense 
  • Brilliant oral and written communication skills
  • Highly analytical with strong attention to detail
  • Have strong research skills and Sharp critical thinking
  • Have worked well with a team and can also work independently
  • Have worked or has background doing Quality Assessment
  • Have basic leadership training 
  • Have worked in a field which involves decision making related to the job’s Program Policies
  • Have a good sense of urgency
  • Strong understanding of Google Program Policies
