About the Position
The Ad Optimization Success Manager is a dynamic blend of the Customer Success Manager and Ad Optimization Specialist positions. This role combines technical expertise in ad configuration and optimization with a strong focus on client relationships and communication. The Ad Optimization Success Manager is responsible for guiding publishers through optimizing their ad performance, ensuring compliance, and achieving revenue targets, all while providing exceptional support and strategic insights. This role ensures seamless integration of technical solutions with client satisfaction, driving success for both the publishers and MonetizeMore.

Ad Configuration, Optimization & Strategy:
- Understand Publishers' preferences for receiving value from M2, identify pain points, and provide creative growth suggestions, including monetization beyond ad inventory and solutions for challenges.
- Assess and optimize current ad setups to identify revenue enhancement opportunities, tailoring strategies to meet publisher goals.
- Analyze publisher ad inventory to determine the best-performing ad units, proposing and implementing changes as needed.
- Discuss insights on how the publisher can expand their overall business. For example, targeting new markets, geographies, or other niches.
- Work closely with the Ad Demand Team to configure, test, and manage the entire ad stack in Google Ad Manager, including header bidding setups, to maximize publisher benefits and address any errors or anomalies.
- Perform daily ad quality checks to ensure all placements are filled, monitoring performance metrics such as CPM, Page RPM, and Session RPM, and addressing any fluctuations immediately.
- Work closely with Engineers, Solutions Engineers, and other teams to troubleshoot setup concerns and explore new ad tech developments to further enhance publisher performance.
- Audit demand stack partners to ensure accurate impression tracking and continuously monitor publisher sites for compliance with Google's policies, avoiding any ad interruptions.
- Generate and analyze monthly and annual reports, utilizing historical data to provide insights and trend analysis, and conduct 7-day and 30-day post-live performance reviews.
- Prioritize publisher goals, acting as a dedicated ambassador for MonetizeMore tools, and ensuring all applicable PubGuru Tech Features are activated at launch to maximize publisher benefits.
- Maintain clear and concise communication with publishers throughout the onboarding process and collaborate seamlessly with internal teams to align actions with customer expectations.
- Achieve internal KPI benchmarks and external revenue targets, ensuring both MonetizeMore and publishers' success.
- Analytical Thinking - Ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
- Technical Proficiency - Familiarity with digital advertising tools and platforms like Google Ad Manager, WordPress, GAM 360, traffic acquisition tool such sa Active Campaign and header bidding solutions.
- Problem-Solving Skills - Resourceful in identifying issues, troubleshooting errors, and finding effective solutions.
- Attention to Detail - Precision in setting up campaigns, implementing ad tags, or managing publisher configurations to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Communication Skills - Clarity in conveying technical details, results, and strategies to stakeholders with varying levels of understanding.
